Training for social work students and social workers
Updated: Feb 7
Trainers from Building Bridges Training have been very busy recently; in January they delivered training about giving good support to parents with a learning disability to social workers and family centre staff from Dudley.
They also delivered a well received session to student social workers at University of Warwick. They are also delivering 4 workshops to students at the University of Wolverhampton in February and March. This includes delivering personal presentations of their lives – their achievements and some of the challenges they face.
They also lead activities for the students so they have a greater awareness and understanding of learning disability and the social barriers people experience.
Future bookings include Birmingham City University.
Please contact us if you are interested in people from Building Bridges Training coming to your college or university.
