We provide a range of co-delivered services
We deliver a range of services including training, producing easy read, producing good practice information and inclusive research projects. We can travel to venues within a 1-hour travel time from Sandwell, West Midlands.
Peer Training
We can provide short training courses on a variety of topics that are important to people with learning disabilities.
We use a variety of training methods including telling of our personal stories and experiences, PowerPoint presentations, easy read workbooks, interactive activities, group work, quizzes and fun games.

Easy Read Services
People with a learning disability have a right to information they can understand. ‘Easy read’ is a format that people with a learning disability prefer.
Easy read contains only the essential information, which is clearly presented, and uses images to help explain the concepts in the text.

Inclusive Research
Building Bridges Research Group grew out of Building Bridges Training in 2010.
They are a group of people with a learning disability who carry out inclusive research about the issues affecting their lives and those of their friends.
Inclusive research enables people with a learning disability, (with support), to take a lead role conducting research about topics that are important to their lives.

Building Bridges Training has developed a range of good practice information and other resources.
All our resources are available to order through our online store. They are emailed to you as a PDF document and there is no charge.
