Female Genital Mutilation: 14-page easy read information leaflet

Building Bridges have produced a 14-page easy read information leaflet for people with a learning disability to help them understand more about FGM (female genital mutilation), and how to get help.

It is recommended that the information isn’t given directly to people, but they are supported to read it with someone who can help them get further help if needed.

The content for the leaflet was produced in collaboration with a number of voluntary organisations and other agencies, and has been endorsed by the Royal College of GP’s.
